css_signature

I just added id="centricle-com" to the body element throughout this site. This allows you to change the site's appearance by including corresponding rules in your user style sheet. For example, if you who have trouble reading because of the green background, you can change it by adding #centricle-com {background:#fff} to your user.css, and it shouldn't affect any other sites.
Eric Meyer brought this up on css-d this past weekend, but the idea has been mentioned before on the list. And, in a recent thread on CIWAS, Karl Smith suggested a tentative name for this technique: CSS Signatures.
